Children of all ages are encouraged to bring their handmade creations to display in the Youth Hall. With a wide variety of categories and cash prizes awarded to winners, it’s a fun and rewarding way for young makers to share their talents and creativity.

About Us

The Franklin County Fairgrounds is owned and managed by the Franklin County Agricultural Society. The Society's mission is to promote agriculture, the arts, and family entertainment and to continuously invest in preservation of the historic fairgrounds.

The mission of the Friends of the Franklin County Fairgrounds is to champion and secure the resources needed to restore, revitalize, and preserve the historic fairgrounds—ensuring it remains a vibrant, accessible, and enduring community asset for generations to come.

Historic Preservation

The Franklin County Fairgrounds was listed on the National Park Service's National Registry of Historical Places in 2011.
