General Fair Information

The 165th Annual Franklin County Fair will be held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, Massachusetts, from September 5-8, 2013. We're pleased to welcome our new midway operator Reithoffer Shows. This year's theme - "165 Reasons to Go to the Franklin County Fair".

GATES OPEN:
Thursday — 3 pm (Midway opens at 4:00)
Friday — Noon (Midway opens at 4:00)
Saturday — 8 am (Midway opens at 11:00)
Sunday — 8 am (Midway opens at 11:00)

Roundhouse, Museum, Fish & Game, Youth Hall & Baby Barn Yard:
Thursday 3 - 9:30 pm (Roundhouse opens at 5:00 pm)
Friday Noon - 9:30 pm

Dole & Grandstand Buildings:

Pre-Fair Tickets

Pre-fair tickets may be purchased at the following locations for only $6.00 per adult admission ($3.00 savings). Pre-Fair tickets go on sale August 1, 2013. Ticket sales end September 1.

Parking inside the Fairgrounds - $4.00
(using the Car Gate on Wisdom Way )
Parking outside the Fairgrounds - $3.00
Park across the street from the Main Gate
Friday Only - Senior Citizens PARK free until 1:00 pm. with paid admission

Off-site Parking at the Greenfield Corporate Center and Greenfield Savings Bank Parking Lots located on Munson Street. These free parking lots are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. Free shuttle service will be offered. Our thanks to Greenfield Savings Bank and the Greenfield Corporate Center for their generosity.

Shuttle Bus
Free shuttle Friday, Saturday & Sunday to the fairgrounds. Pickups locations are at Court Square and the Franklin County Courthouse Parking Lot. The shuttle runs from Friday 11:00 am. to 10:00 pm., and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am. to 10:00 pm. The shuttle leaves the Fairgrounds Main Gate approximately every 1/2 hour.
